I live in the heart of the fandom economy — not just as someone who buys merch, but as someone who dreams up new ones. From official collections to co-branded treasures, I’ve filled my space with pieces from the stories I love.
But I also create what’s missing — drawing and designing the merchandise I wish existed.
Whether it’s a favorite movie, a TV show, a story, or a even fairytale, I just want everything I love close to me — turned into something I can see, hold, and share.

“Eyes, Games, and Secrets: A Jewelry Tribute to Coraline”
I designed this “Coraline Seeking Game” jewelry set, inspired by the three ghost children’s eyes and the symbolic challenges Coraline must overcome. The collection includes five unique pieces, each drawing from key moments in the Other World:
A necklace representing the first challenge in the garden scene, featuring heart-shaped glowing flowers and bird motifs—elements that left a lasting impression on me—alongside the first ghost child’s eye.
A bracelet and earring pair inspired by the second scene at the jumping mouse circus, incorporating whimsical mouse silhouettes and the second ghost child’s eye.
A second bracelet and earring set (for the other hand and ear) reflecting the final challenge with the acrobatic sisters, adorned with theatrical motifs from the performance and the third ghost child’s eye.

Yellow & Blue: A Flippable Story Storage of Charlie and Nick
I designed this set of two flippable enamel pins inspired by the Netflix series Heartstopper, both use a consistent color palette of yellow and blue, representing Charlie and Nick—a visual echo of their personalities and connection:
The first piece is a heart-shaped pin, designed like a mini Polly Pocket. One side reveals the cozy details of each protagonist’s bedroom, while the flip side showcases one of their most heartwarming scenes together.
The second piece resembles a vinyl record, blending elements from the show’s poster with another iconic moment between the two characters.

From Hawkins, With Love: A Bracelet for the Stranger Kids
I designed a cartoon-style bracelet inspired by Netflix’s Stranger Things, celebrating the core elements of the kids’ group dynamics. Each character is stylized into a playful, illustrated charm, forming a unified piece that captures their bond and adventure spirit.
Alongside the design, I launched a digital marketing campaign on the social media platform Red Note, where I promoted the bracelet as an original fan product. The campaign gained over 1,000 followers and high audience engagement within just one month, showcasing my ability to blend fandom-driven design with audience-centered content strategy.

From Words to Objects: Designing for Sanmao’s Spirit
As a writer, Sanmao left behind few tangible traces. Her life—so rich with experience, adventure, and feeling—is mostly preserved in words. I can read about her past, her travels, her reflections, but there are few images, and even fewer videos. Unlike a painter, director, or actress, her presence lives on not through visuals, but through language.
She wrote about her home in the Sahara Desert—the house she and her husband decorated from an empty shell into a shared space of love and warmth. She described the antiques and souvenirs collected on her journeys across the world, accompanied only by faint photographs. As I read her stories, I imagine these objects, these spaces—trying to see what she saw, hold what she once held. Though she left little visual documentation, her photographs, interviews, and recorded voice still carry an aura of melancholy and artistic spirit that continues to captivate me.
For my remix project, I created a series of merchandise inspired by Sanmao’s image and essence: a wooden music box jewelry stand, a photo clip, a canvas bag, and a badge—each a tribute to her world and her memory.

Of Swallows and Pearls: Fairy Tale Love Reimagined
Oscar Wilde’s The Happy Prince and Andersen’s The Little Mermaid have long been two of my most beloved stories—both achingly sad, yet filled with deep and selfless love. Inspired by these timeless tales, I designed a pair of collectible toys and matching rings, symbolizing the idea of eternal love.
The Happy Prince is depicted as a blonde figure crowned with sapphire gems, paired with delicate swallow-shaped earrings as a tribute to the story’s final devotion.
The Little Mermaid is imagined with flowing blue hair and pearl-like tears, embodying both her grace and her quiet sorrow.

Fame on a Shelf: 50 Figures for a Collector’s Heart
One day, as someone who has always adored dolls and toys, I had a sudden idea: what if I turned all my favorite human beings—artists, directors, singers, actors—into beautifully packaged toys in a display window?
That fleeting thought became the start of my project, “The Market of Humans in Bulk.” In this satirical yet affectionate series, I designed a collection of 50 stylized toy figures, each representing a real-life cultural figure I admire. By reimagining people as collectable, aestheticized products, this project questions the way we consume celebrity, identity, and fandom—how admiration often turns into objectification, even when fueled by love. Each toy is designed with care and visual playfulness, but also a touch of melancholy—because behind every perfect package lies a real, complex human being.
